Great place for celebrations, date night or dinner with friends! On this visit we didn’t take many pictures. We arrived near opening time on a Sunday and by the time we left it was starting to fill up. The Saganaki and Trio of Spreads we ordered were really good. The Rack of Lamb and Lamb Shank were both delicious!
Came here last night with my husband to celebrate our anniversary. It was our first time here even though I’ve lived in Schaumburg almost my entire life. Food was excellent and came out pretty fast. Service was good too. We will be back here again!
I had an amazing experience at Meze Mediterraneo! I tried their gluten-free lamb flatbread, and it was absolutely delicious—perfectly seasoned, tender lamb with a great balance of flavors. The service was excellent; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right. The live music added a wonderful touch to the atmosphere, making the evening even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for great Mediterranean food with a welcoming ambiance, this place is a must-visit! I’ll definitely be back.
We had a very pleasant and enjoyable time at Meze! From the hostess to the servers, everyone was courteous and professional. The food was delicious! We've been here twice now. Second time for late lunch at the bar with a live guitarist, food n drinks still amazing. Update: Coming back for some drinks and grilled octopus. Carmen created some wonderful drinks, Chef George never disappoints, delicious meals!
Service was great. Isabelle, our waitress was very tentative and knew how to handle the table with my son. She was cautious were played were placed, tentative to make sure food was good and we had everything. Atmosphere is nice, indoor and patio seating with some live music in the bar area. The food was delicious, we ordered seabass and the meat trio. Portions were great and not overfilling, allowing you to explore appetizers. Only thing i was disappointed in, was the saganaki did not come out with the fire performance. It was just served to us . Nonetheless, overall great restaurant with a nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend a visit here to others. Oh! And their baklava cheesecake is so good!
Wonderful, modern, Mediterranean restaurant right near the woodfield shopping mall. Most importantly we came here because they have live music. We appreciate that they are supporting art and music by hiring gifted musicians. We loved all the food we had, we got multiple plates for sharing. The wait staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The Meze Mediterraneo, located on Mall Drive in Schaumburg, Illinois, offers a dining experience. The restaurant itself is nicely appointed with a beautiful atmosphere and comfortable seating. You can choose to dine inside or the outside patio. Maybe choose to have evening cocktails in the bar/lounge on Friday or Saturday and listen to the musical stylings of local musicians. The avgolemono (egg-lemon soup with rice), dolmades avgolemono (stuffed grape leaves with lemon sauce), and Tuscany chicken were all delicious, but the octopus was outstanding and cooked to perfection.
I can't believe we have never visited this location. The atmosphere is amazing, such a great building with gorgeous interior and the outdoor area is insane! Heated floors, ceiling heaters bar area and fire pits. Now the food was 100% flawless. Shrimps cooked to perfection, everything put on my spoon worked great. I was impressed that the meals were cooked to your liking and not pre mixed. I omit onions and that was not an issue at all. All of the food tasted fresh with quality ingredients. Our waitress was awesome, super friendly and made our meals the cherry in top. Will absolutely go back!
